Lions, giraffes, zebras, monkeys and more are represented in set from Italy. The chess pieces feature a variety of exotic creatures, from the regal lion "king" to whimsical zebra "knights," all made of Oxo-Teak (crushed alabaster) and hand-painted by Italian artisans. The table is made from the most exotic woods, maple, walnut, mahogany and briarwood. Chess and backgammon board are inlaid with briarwood/maple.
